About Us:

At Creative Spark we are passionate about making a difference through the arts. Our ethos — Be Bold, Be Brave, Be You — guides everything we do. We are seeking dedicated Community Arts Practitioners with a strong background in theatre arts to join our team and help us connect and empower the members of our community.

About the Role:

We are looking for experienced arts practitioners to expand our current pool of freelancers. We are particularly interested in hearing from those who specialise in theatre arts - musical theatre, dance, play writing and theatre making - and have a passion for community arts. Opportunities include working with a diverse range of participants, including children aged 0-4 and individuals who are neurodiverse and also have a range of additional support needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and deliver engaging theatre arts sessions tailored to a variety of community groups.

Work effectively with young children (ages 0-4) and adapt sessions to suit early years development.

Support individuals who are neurodiverse, ensuring an inclusive and accessible environment.

Collate workshop evidence and submit workshop reports to ensure accountability of our work to

stakeholders and partners.

Collaborate with our team to bring our ethos to life in every session: Be Bold, Be Brave, Be You.

Work effectively with young people (ages 4-18) to create pieces of theatre that are important to them.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a theatre arts practitioner with a focus on community engagement.

Experience working with early years (ages 0-4) and participants with neurodiversity.

Strong understanding of inclusive practice and accessibility in the arts.

A PVG (Protecting Vulnerable Groups) certificate is essential.

A full driving license is preferred but not essential.

How to Apply:

If you are passionate about theatre arts and want to make a meaningful impact, we’d love to hear from you.
